The idea to establish a football academy was born out of our founders' observation of a major gap in Palestine, between a growing passion for football among children and teenagers, but a lack of structured, professional training facilities to nurture that enthusiasm. To bridge this gap, the academy was launched in 2011 under the name "Football Stars Academy."
From 2011 to 2024
Over the past fifteen years, the academy has steadily developed its services and coaching staff. Initially targeting boys and girls aged 5 to 15, we expanded our training schedule and added new fields to accommodate the rising number of young players joining each year.
We have proudly participated in numerous local tournaments, consistently achieving top rankings. We’ve also made our mark internationally through high-profile participation in tournaments and training camps hosted by some of Europe’s most prestigious clubs:
- Real Madrid Camp held at Real Madrid facilities in Madrid, Spain
- Barcelona International Tournament, where we secured second place in the 2007–2008 age category
- Italy Tournament in Riccione, achieving fourth place in the 2006–2007 age category
- Paris World Games, where we proudly claimed first place in the 2010–2011 age group
Locally, our academy has taken part in various tournaments and events, earning first or second place in most of them, including:
- Locally organized tournaments
- Jerusalem Tournament, which featured top Jordanian clubs like Al-Faisaly and Al-Wehdat
- Four participations in official tournaments held by the Palestinian Football Association
The Launch of Our New Brand – BraveYards
At the start of 2025, following the academy’s remarkable progress in developing youth football in Palestine and its unwavering commitment to investing in local talent to reach the international stage, a strategic decision was made to rebrand the academy.
The academy’s new name, BraveYards, was chosen to better reflect its future vision, core values, and growing presence beyond Palestine. The new identity was crafted to embody the following principles:
- Distinctiveness: As the first academy of its kind in Palestine focused on nurturing youth football talent with a clear pathway to global opportunities, BraveYards views football not just as a hobby but as a career-building avenue — a gateway to professional futures abroad.
- Global Identity: Selecting a unique and memorable name was essential, but ensuring it resonates with both local and international audiences was a top priority.
- Professionalism: BraveYards represents over 14 years of accumulated experience — from its founders, coaches, and administrators — combined with a strong track record of participation in international clubs and tournaments that open new horizons for young players.
- Innovation: The academy remains at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge training programs, the latest football education methodologies, and unparalleled opportunities for all its players and participants.
